A&M Orchards Ltd. Located in Keremeos, BC is looking to hire a full time and permanent Truck Driver with a valid driver license.<\/p>\n
The person does require Secondary (High) school education and 1 to less than 2 years of experience, and English is an asset.<\/p>\n
The person must be able to perform some duties as part of work and that includes:<\/p>\n
Load and unload goods
\nOperate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
\nOversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
\nPay and receive payments for goods
\nPerform brake adjustments
\nPerform emergency roadside repairs
\nPerform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
\nPerform preventive maintenance
\nReceive and relay information to central dispatch
\nRecord cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
\nTarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
\nTransport and handle dangerous goods
\nWe pay a competitive wage of $30.00 \u2013 $38.00 hourly\/ 40 hours per week.
